A Lost Sale
At SYCODE, we get our fair share of weird emails. The other day we got one from a prospective customer wanting to buy one of our AutoCAD plug-ins. We helped him with his initial queries, successfully ran his data through our plug-in and showed him the results. Today the prospect was kind enough to let us know that he would not be purchasing our plug-in. Why? Because he could not find a "working crack" for AutoCAD.
Apparently, he could just about afford our $195 plug-in, but not AutoCAD.

We've all had our fair share of weird customers, haven't we? One time we were trying to resolve a tech support issue with a specific customer (name withheld for obvious reasons!) exchanging emails back and forth to address his concern. Not making much headway, we eventually asked for a screen shot of the software. Guess what we received? Our man actually stood 2 feet away from his monitor, took a pic on a digicam and sent us that! Need I say more? You say "a lost sale", I call it "a lost cause";-)
p.s. we eventually sorted out the issue and introduced the customer to the world of Print Screen:) Our good deed for the day!

I had exactly the same experience once. I almost died laughing.
